Stress, whatever the cause, nutritional, biochemical, bacteriological, viral, thermal, psychological, environmental, constantly attacks our cells and threatens our balance. To allow the survival of cells subjected to a state of shock, our body has developed a mechanism of protection against different stresses, by expressing proteins known as "thermal shock proteins" or "stress proteins" (Heat Shock proteins or HSPs).
HSP proteins are proteins whose role is to repair damaged proteins following cellular stress, thus allowing them to function properly.
