STRUCTOVIAL solution injectable (3x2ml)

Advocated in cases of pain or stiffness resulting from degenerative arthritis or post-traumatic knee.

In patients suffering from degenerative arthritis, the joint is subjected to greater mechanical stress, which accelerates the degeneration of articular cartilage (the joint is stiff and painful during movement). The administration of intra-articular sodium hyaluronate, which are tailored viscoelastic properties, can improve the quality of the lubrication of the joint.

The product by its properties of lubrication and shock absorption, helps reduce pain and improve mobility.

Cons-indications

* Structovial should not be administered to patients who are allergic to any component of the product.
* As this product is administered by intra-articular, it is preferable to exclude from treatment patients with bacterial arthritis, to avoid possible complications.

Instructions for use and dosage

* Remove the syringe ready for use for the plastic container, remove the plastic tip of the Luer-lock by twisting slowly, choosing an appropriately sized needle and lock onto the syringe by turning gently until it is firmly in place.
* It is recommended that between 3 and 5 Structovial injections in the knee joint at a rate of one per week.
* It is possible to treat more than one joint at a time.
* Depending on the severity of joint damage, a series of 5 injections can remain effective for more than 6 months.
* It is possible to repeat the treatment.

Precautions

* Only intended to use intra-articular.
* Single-use product. The syringe must not be re-sterilized after use.
* The physicians administering the treatment should be aware of the risks of immunological and other potential risks arising from the use of a biological product.
* Do not use after expiry date.
* Do not use a holster that is already opened or damaged.
* Keep out of reach of children.

Adverse Reactions

It is possible that patients receiving Structovial feel various symptoms in the region of the treated knee (pain, heat sensation, redness and swelling). It is therefore recommended to set for 5 to 10 minutes a bag of ice on the joint treated, to prevent these symptoms.

Store at room temperature (25 ° C) and freeze.

Ingredients

Hyaluronate sodium (10 mg / 1 ml), sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogen, citric acid, sterile water for injection.
